Silica Powder Price Silica By Silane Treatment, Hydrophobic Silica

It is made from regular hydrophilic silica that reacts with silane coupling agent under proper conditions, which forms a solid powdered silica with surface having a silicone (polysiloxane) grafted. The hydrophobic silica’s hydrophobic contact angle may up to 70 to 150 degrees, which benefits in good hydrophobic as well as anti-foaming function.


Applications

Suitable for textile dyeing and finishing, defoamers, lubricants, unsaturated polyester resin, powder extinguishing agent, silicone rubber and other products.
